I’m making great progress in my novella. I have 10,000! I’m halfway done. <Snoopy dance>
I’m really enjoying the transformation my characters are experiencing. I still don’t know who the ‘bad guy” is going be. Want a really good twist and might have to rewrite some to make it all work. And that’s OK!
What changed from last week?
My perception. I’m never going to have “enough” time or quiet, especially during the summertime. I will always have to make the time if this is what I truly want to do. The best part…when I do make myself start all else seems to tone-out. The story becomes absolute.
Some things just have to wait.
Sorry, pile of dishes and dirt-encrusted clothes. I could kiss the person who invented paper plates.

Begin Date: July 5th, 2012
Word Count: 10,000
Struggle: This week….NONE! The writing Gods are happy.
Goal: To forge ahead and write another 5000 before next week.
You’ve averaged 666 words per day, you evil writer! I knew you could do it!
Awesome job, Summer!!! You saw the light. Just write, right?
