Resolute to You

29 Dec

It’s that time of the year again. Yes, time to make the long list of New Year’s resolutions. Only this year I mean to keep them. At least that’s what I’m telling myself.

Every year I make promises and every year I go back on more than half of them.

This year I’m trying a different approach. I resolute to be me.

That’s right. I’m not going to try to work harder, write ten’s times more or lose those extra pounds around the middle. I’m going to love myself the way I am. I’m going to complain less and laugh louder and love more. I’m going to enjoy what I have instead of longing for what I don’t.

I resolute to be me.

I have a wonderful life and don’t need to make no stinkin’ lists. ;)

Happy New Year’s!

I wish you all the greatest successes in being you

You are so smart! WE should all have this resolution and if you’ve got a list, it should be the first thing you think of every day!

Whoohoo! I’m with you. But I suppose I do have one resolution, that is to eat healthy…I don’t have a choice really…I eat the wrong thing, allergies kick in, and fall asleep at my desk. My head hits the keyboard, clunk zzzzzzzzzzzz :-)

Have a great year and stay safe!

    Summer,

So true, the best resolution is just be yourself and everything else will fall in place.

Here’s to a wonderful 2012 for all of us!

This is similar to my blog post of my “new year’s resolutions.” Resolving to be awesome is a great resolution! Happy New Year!
